Image Processing, Augmented and Virtual Reality

Abstract
Fast and miniaturized image processing platforms have revolutionized the application of vision systems from industrial smart sensors to automotive to consumer electronics. Using digital image processing and computer vision, computers get to learn and classify their environment, which affects the way we interact with machines. Augmented Reality is a hot trend in mobile phones as well as in specialized glasses, e.g. allowing service engineers to access site-specific data crucial for tasks such as maintenance and repair. The Workshop aims at providing an overview on the current trends of hard- and software technology, on market, and on content, with focus on challenges and perspectives of present and future applications.

Target audience
This workshop will be a forum for participants from industry and academia to share their experiences and discuss challenges and perspectives of current and future applications.

Veranstaltungshinweis
