LUMITECH Lighting Solution is an Austrian development and production partner for photonic systems that are applied in various industries. The core production competence involves Chip-on-Board (CoB) technology, microdosing of color conversion materials and the precise deposition of  optical filter and reflector films.

Dr. Christian Hochfilzer, Business Development
Christian Hochfilzer received his Ph.D. in solid-state physics from Graz University of Technology in Austria. He is a founding member of LUMITECH, a spin-off from his alma mater, and has introduced innovative solid-state lighting solutions to various industries over the past three decades. Christian served as CTO and COO at Regent Lighting, leading the transition from conventional light sources to “digital” LED technology. He also co-founded SANSOL, a provider of customized lighting solutions for biotechnological production processes. He is a member of Swissphotonics and Photonics Austria and lives in Basel.

Dr. Christian Bosshard, Managing Director Swissphotonics
Dr. Christian Bosshard received his degree in Physics (1986) and his doctorate (1991, Silver medal award) from ETH. From 2001-2021 he was working at CSEM, first as Section Head and then as Vice President and Head Photonics. Since 2013 he is Managing Director of Swissphotonics. Christian is a Fellow of Optica, former Board Member of EPIC, and Member of the Board of the University of Basel.
