CoBooster is a non-profit association operating a collaborative online platform that helps companies and R&D partners turn ideas into project-based results. Swissphotonics is a member of CoBooster. As a result, all Swissphotonics member entities receive complimentary access to all platform services for free.
On the platform, you can, under your own name or anonymously, submit:
- Discussion topics
- Ideas for co-funded feasibility studies
- Patents to sell or license
What CoBooster does
- Bottom-up, project-centric approach: teams form around concrete challenges directly on the platform (anonymous posting available).
- Rapid, low-friction tech transfer: post a project and reach a national network of ~700 potential partners across industry and academia.
- Shared risk & commitment: transparent co-funding of feasibility studies via the platform if you wish.
- Trusted collaboration: robust legal framework and neutral fund management to protect all parties.
- Ecosystem enablers: templates, coaching, and curated matchmaking to accelerate execution.
- Patent marketplace to surface under-used IP for licensing or sale.
- Access to all platform services is for free for all Swissphotonics members
- CoBooster takes 10% of the amount of paid feasibility studies that start. For patent sales, CoBooster applies a success fee to be discussed based on its level of involvement.
