Scrona’s electro hydro dynamic (EHD) printing technology, enables µm-resolution, high throughput, and highest material flexibility. In this presentation we will explain the basic principles of the EHD process and showcase different usecases from display technology to die attach.

At Scrona, we are on a mission to revolutionize the micro manufacturing industry.  Our multi-nozzle printheads will simplify production to 2 simple steps: digital printing and curing. Dr. Patrick Heissler, CEO Scrona
Patrick Heissler is the CEO of SCRONA AG and founder of iajack ventures. With a proven track record in leadership and innovation, Patrick previously excelled as the Corporate Chief Commercial Officer at Focuslight Technologies. His strategic acumen shone through when he successfully carved out SUSS MicroOptics SA (SMO) from SUSS MicroTec SE, where he served as Chief Strategy Officer. At DELO Industrial Adhesives, Patrick spearheaded the micro-optics materials business, driving remarkable growth and market penetration. As CTO of UltraFast Innovations, he played a pivotal role in ramping up their revenue past the first million.
Patrick earned his doctorate in physics from the prestigious Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics, with research stints at the University of Utah and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Complementing his technical expertise, he holds an MBA in Innovation and Business Creation from the Technical University of Munich, with additional modules completed at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. Christian Bosshard, Managing Director Swissphotonics
Dr. Christian Bosshard received his degree in Physics (1986) and his doctorate (1991, Silver medal award) from ETH. From 2001-2021 he was working at CSEM, first as Section Head and then as Vice President and Head Photonics. Since 2013 he is Managing Director of Swissphotonics. Christian is a Fellow of Optica, Board Member of EPIC, and Member of the Board of the University of Basel.
