Abstract
In recent years the development of high brightness laser sources has forged ahead in big steps. Today, the user can choose between several high power laser concepts for his specific application. The goal of this workshop is to present typical applications for the different high brightness laser concepts and to qualify them with respect to the results obtained with conventional laser sources.
