Photonics 21

Photonics21 is the European Technology Platform for Photonics. Swissphotonicsis an active member of  Photonics21 which is active in ICT FP7.

Swissphotonics is represented in the Photonics21 mirror group by Dr. Stefan Oberholzer. Swissphotonics' connection to the european technology platform is through Gabriella Leo.

Please find attached a list of deadlines of calls of interest to Swisslaser members (Submission_deadline_schedule(DOC, 47 KB)) and let us know by e-mail if you would like participate in any of these calls. We and EPIC can help you assemble a consortium (at no cost for EPIC members. Please note that Swisslaser members do get a 15% discount for EPIC membership) 

In Germany, a follow-up initiative ( Photonik_2020(PDF, 720 KB)) has already been launched.
